The husband's band played O'Malley's on Saturday night. It was a great show. The place was packed and they had the crowd stomping, cheering and singing along. They had help from Sarah, the beautiful and talented sister of Nick, the guitarist. That girl can sing her ass off and she had every guy in the place captivated. The band ended up playing for 4 hours, and even though I was merely sitting on my butt the entire time, I'm worn out! Maybe it has something to do with the mile long hike/climb down into the romantic dungeon that is O'Malley's. It's seriously like descending into a cave. But once you get down there, it's pretty damn cool!

We went to the City Market today and came home with a ton of stuff as usual. -Well, more like a bushel, but you know.. whatever. We bought more of that fantastic asiago-spinach bread from the two cute little Mennonite (I don't know, they wear bonnets) girls. It's the most awesome bread I think I've ever purchased in a plastic bag. They are absolute sweethearts and may God forgive them for putting crack in their bread. I swear, the stuff is addictive.
Everyone is doing it...

The funny thing is, these are pretty much all careers that interest me and pretty much all careers my father talked me out of. He's never been one of those "You can do anything you put your mind to." Dads.
