As a parent, you have these little moments where you realize that your kid is cooler than you. This weekend, my husband and I had one of those moments. Grace was dancing around the living room singing "Want you... want me... want youuuuuu... want meeeeeee!" We got so excited. "She's singing Cheap Trick!!! Our little girl is singing I Want You To Want Me!!!"
Today it evolved into "Want you... want me... happy famadee!"
NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
She's singing the stupid Barney song! AHHHHHHHHH!

You'll just have to make sure she knows the real lyrics, if that means playing hits from the 70's and 80's incessantly to drown out any improbably colored megafauna, then so be it! :P
